Free Optional Open Source Software.

The Registration Agents and third parties have written open source software that can be used or adapted to be used with the Personal Domain Service without any payment to them or anybody else.

"Open source software", is distributed under the GNU General Public Licence and allows users the freedom to share and change free software and have access to the programmerís source code.

You can use bits of the source code in new programs which you may wish to write or simply use the software as it currently exists.

On the downside, there are no warranties when using this free software. On the upside, however, because such software is written, developed and adapted for identical communal uses, it can ultimately be the most pertinent software available for the Personal Domain Service.

The Registration Agents will keep customers advised of any additional Free Optional Open Source Software that they can use with their Personal Domain website.
